The Compassionate Clothing Closet’s (CCC) annual blanket drive will begin tomorrow, October 1 and will conclude on October 31. Please consider donating a new or gently, used blanket to be given to our neighbors in need during the long, winter months. Donations can be brought to Bell Ridge or can be taken directly to the CCC location at 211 N Central Ave in Paris (Monday or Tuesday 12-2 p.m.) Blanket distribution will begin in November.

Rural King Church Week
The Rural King Church Week event ends this Saturday, August 15. If you have a RK receipt with a date from August 2-15, 2020 please bring it to the church office so that information can be entered online, or you can enter yourself by going to www.ruralking.com/churchweek. Ten percent of all approved receipts will be given to Bell Ridge.
To date, we have submitted 28 receipts for a total of $2639.10. Thank you for supporting BRCC!
Projection Fund
We need to replace our projector in the auditorium. The Board voted this past week to replace the projector and the computer that runs the projection equipment when we have funds available. Estimates that we have received to accomplish this are around $10,000. We have on hand $3,500. If you wish to help with this expense, please designate your gift for the Projection Fund. Thank you.

God’s Beauty and Creativity
When viewing our landscape, we see God’s creativity in the astonishing diversity of nature. This week at Bell Ridge we observed turkeys sprinting across the bean field, bald eagles flying from tree to tree and a fawn waiting patiently for the return of its mother.

Worship Services
To our Bell Ridge Families,
I pray that this letter finds all of you doing well. We have missed you and we have missed having you in worship. The Leadership believes that the time has come to meet together again for worship. So this Sunday, June 7th we will be having worship at 8:15 (Traditional) and 10:30 (Contemporary). We know that there are those that may have some concerns about this so we have tried to address some issues that are listed below. We want you to know that if these actions do not eliminate your concerns, do not feel obligated to come. You will be missed but we want you to feel safe so that you can focus on worshipping God. We also ask that you be considerate of others. If you know that you have been ill or around someone who is ill, please stay away for the safety of others. Here is a list of topics so that you know what to expect when you come;
Respect others’ wishes to wear or not wear a mask and to practice social distancing.
We would ask that families sit together. There will be no nursery and children are to sit with their parents. To start with every other pew will be closed off so that people will not sit right behind or in front of each other.
There will be singing. Offering plates will be in the foyer and you can drop your gifts in as you arrive or leave. Communion will be in pre-packaged units that you will pick up as you enter. We will partake together after the Elder’s meditation.
Hand sanitizer, gloves, masks, and bottled water will be available in the foyer.
We will continue to record the service utilizing video and audio for those who choose to participate, just not in our church building. We will also continue drive thru communion from 9:45-10:15 for those who wish to take communion but not come in.
Sunday School classes and Sunday night services will not be held at this time.
We hope that you will come and worship with us. If you have any concerns, please let the Elders know what you are concerned about. If we are fortunate to have the problem of too many people we will consider adding another service. If you have any questions please contact the Church office and we will try to answer them for you.
