“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people……….” Galatians 6:9-10
Cory Williamson
Cory Williamson grew up in Paris, IL, he attended Lincoln Christian University, and has served as Youth Minister at Lake Ridge Christian Church. He is presently serving with Latin American Missions Association in Ica, Peru. The mission work there is focused on reaching the youth with the message of Christ before they learn the mystical faith of the native culture. As he shared with our Mission’s Ministry this past Sunday afternoon it was interesting to see in his slide show pictures of children receiving Operation Christmas Child boxes and his description of the impact that ministry has in his work. The Mission Ministry felt and believes that Cory and his wife, Angie are deserving of our partnership in the work in Peru.
IDES
IDES, the International Disaster Emergency Service of Noblesville, IN is involved in sharing the love of Christ around the world by meeting the physical needs of people. The needs may arise because of Disaster, Hunger, Community Development, or Medical Care. We have given to IDES over the years as they have ministered to people that are going through difficult circumstances mainly because of natural disasters. They meet these needs by working through Christian organizations and churches allowing the local Church to make the contacts with the people in the area in order to build relationships and opportunities to share Christ. The Mission Ministry believes our prayers and financial support to IDES will be a blessing to others around the world.

Sunday Ude Obeten
What a year for Sunday and his family. On the difficult side; one of his daughters was killed in a tragic accident and Sunday had to have one of his legs amputated after it became infected. On the joyous side, his two other daughters got married to two great young men who are active in the church. The work of the church has continued to grow. Ministers to train, medical needs to be meet, people to feed and concern over Muslim influence in the northern section of Nigeria occupy Sunday’s time. Even with the tragic things that occurred Sunday continued working. Souls are being won to Christianity which makes the effort worth everything.

Our local center is on the corner of Wood and High Streets in Paris is dedicated to helping men and women that find themselves facing the decisions of unplanned pregnancy. They minister to those that come to them by striving to teach them about God’s plan for them and their child. The ministry does not end with the birth of the child but families can have support with parenting classes and the opportunity for clothing and supplies to help them as they raise their child.

Missionary Assist Panama
David and Yvonne Oldenburg in Panama have had a busy year. They have built a couple of church buildings, dug wells, installed solar panels, and installed kitchens in church buildings so that the local churches can feed their communities. A house has been purchased for them to live in with storage in the rear to protect and store their tools and equipment. One of their current needs is a four wheel drive vehicle to help them carry out their work. A fund has been started to help with this purchase. They have secured a source to purchase Bibles to distribute to the people. All this gives them great satisfaction but the real reward is when they see people come into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
