Weekly Service Bulletins

The bulletin announcements for August 2nd and 3rd are listed below:
Saturday Evening Service: 6:00 p.m.
Sunday Morning Services: 8:15 a.m. & 10:40 a.m.
Sunday School: 9:30 a.m.
A new Worship Schedule, Website, and App are coming to Bell Ridge- Beginning August 9th we will have three worship services on Sunday morning. The first service (traditional) will start at 8 AM. The second one (contemporary) will start at 9:30. The third service (contemporary) will be at 11. To accomplish this the Saturday evening service will stop and we will not have opening exercises at the beginning of Sunday School. Our Sunday School classes will be at 9:30 except the high school class will meet at 11. There will be Jr. Church at the first and third services.
The Dollar Club will be meeting this morning.
Do not forget the Building Fund in your giving.
The Elders will be meeting on Tuesday evening at 7 PM.
The Administrative Ministry will be meeting on Wednesday evening at 7 PM in the Shepherds classroom.
Men’s Breakfast- Saturday morning at 8 AM.
Back to School Night- Mark your calendars for this event on Sunday, August 9th from 4-6 PM. If you would like to help there is a supply list in the foyer, an insert is in this bulletin and/or just speak to Caitlin.
Compassionate Clothing Closet- we are serving in September. There is a sign up sheet in the foyer.
The Dollar Club- Please be looking for others that God can bless through us.
Operation Christmas Child- the August gift ideas include hair accessories, combs, brushes, small baseballs, small footballs, small hammers and nails.
Bible Study –Our new series “The Parables” by John Wick has begun. Everyone is welcome to join us on Thursday evenings at 6:30 PM for a time of scriptures, material study, prayer, and fellowship.
Congratulations to Austin and Andrea Hall on the birth of their son, Fletcher Wade.
Ridge Runners- Need a little help with a project around your home? Call the Church and ask if a Ridge Runner can help you. Brochures are in the foyer on the bulletin table.

Jr. High Youth Group - Youth Group tonight at 5:30 PM.
Sr. High Youth Group - Wednesday evenings at 6 PM.
Jr. Church …is looking for volunteer teachers. Students dismiss before the sermon. The curriculum will be provided to you two weeks ahead of time. Caitlin will be happy to answer any questions.
Gratitude and Appreciation
Thank you to everyone that showed up and brought equipment to work on our playground yesterday.
We want to thank Tally Logging for donating the 6X6 wood beams that will be used for the borders of our playground.
THANK YOU to the adult sponsors who went to CIY: John and Koen Brinkerhoff, Alex and Caitlin Stewart, Kristy Speece, Kendra Stone, and Katey Ehlers. You made a huge impact on the lives of 51 students. Thank you for the sacrifices that you made to make it happen. CIY would not have happened without you!

By clicking on the scripture reference, you will be able to read the associated sermon notes and start the recording. Edgar County Brotherhood- Nevins Christian Church is hosting our gathering on Tuesday, July 21st at 7 PM.
Edgar County Fair Hospitality Tent- thank you to everyone that volunteered.
Work Day – On August 1st at 8 AM we will be working on the playground area digging out the old mulch. We will need shovels, wrenches, cordless drills, and manpower.
